Text Messaging Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Marble Mechanics collects, uses and protects your mobile phone number and your consent to receive text messages from our business number, 813-471-5612. It covers our project texts only. How the rest of the website handles information is in our website privacy notice.
What we collect
- Your name and mobile phone number.
- Your consent to receive project texts: the date you agreed, how you agreed and who recorded it.
- The text messages we exchange with you, including any STOP or HELP replies.
- Whether you have opted out.
How you agree to receive texts
We only text customers who have agreed to it. We ask during a project consultation or a phone conversation, and when you say yes we record your agreement in our customer records. Giving us your phone number, sending the estimate form or asking for a quote does not by itself sign you up for text messages.
How we use it
We use your number and the messages we exchange only to text you about your project: appointment confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, rescheduling and updates on your project or service, and to answer your replies. We do not send promotional or marketing texts.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
To deliver our texts, your number and the content of our messages pass through the companies that carry them: our messaging provider, Telnyx, and the mobile phone carriers. They handle this information only to deliver our messages and your replies, never for their own marketing.
The record of your text messaging opt-in and consent is kept by Marble Mechanics and is not shared with any third party. The one exception is a STOP reply: our messaging provider keeps track of it so that no further texts are sent to you.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How we protect it
Your information is kept in password-protected systems that only Marble Mechanics uses, and it travels over encrypted connections. We keep your consent record, and any opt out, for as long as we need it to respect your choice and to show when you gave or withdrew your consent.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop them. We confirm with one last message and send no more.
- Reply HELP for help, or call or email us using the details below.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. If you have opted out, we keep a record of that so we never text you again.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
